Sigma™ Extruded Aluminium

The clean smooth lines of Robertson Sigma™ aerodynamic louvres provide a striking architectural feature to complement a wide variery of building applications from traditional to modern and from offices to industrial developments.

Sigma™ aluminium louvres have smooth, rounded blade edges which enhance their aesthetic appeal and provide improved aerodynamic performance.

Sigma™ louvres are extremely versatile and can be installed into any configuration of wall facade. The flexible clip device allows the pitch arrangement to be varied to suit individual requirements. They can be supplied as a modular box type louvre or as a continuous system for large face area requirements.

The strong visual appeal of the Sigma™ louvre system, combined with its greater efficiency, choice of pitch size and colours, offers the specifier considerable flexibility in design.

The unique aerofoil blade offers improved free area factors. Where weather tightness is important, the Sigma system can incorporate double pass blades while still retaining its smooth, continuous appearance.

Features and Accessories

Material: Sigma™ louvres are manufactured from mill finish aluminium to international standards.
Finishes: Can be provided in mill finish, anodised, polyester powder-coated or PVF2.
Easy Assembly: The Sigma™ louvre system is available in continuous or knocked down form with preassembled mullions and clips for continuous louvres. Blades snap easily into the clips, without special tools, yet provide security when in place.
Blade Options: Can be supplied as single pass, double pass or double pass operable.
Pitch Options: The range of pitches and geometric free areas available are: 50mm – up to 48%; 80mm – up to 65%; l00mm – up to 52%.
Bird Guards/lnsect Screens: A range of designed bird guards and insect screens are available as optional extras.

Performance

Blade design has been tested for structural and aerodynamic performance to produce optimum spanning and pressure loss performance. The louvres have been independently tested to current international standards.

Accessories

Accessories such as insulation, blanking panels and acoustic treatment can be provided to suit specific project requirements.
